Conduction 3D: The effect of temperature difference

Your task is to investigate how the amount of heat conducted through the test piece depends on the temperature of the heater on the left-hand side:

1. Run the model until it stops.
2. Turn the graph on to watch the change of the temperature if necessary.
3. In the workbook, write down the temperature of the heater and the temperature of the thermometer when the model stops.
4. Use the drop-down menu below the model to change the heater temperature.
5. Repeat 1-3 for two more different heater temperatures.

After you have completed your investigation, answer the questions in your workbook.
