Can you set the medium to simulate a vacuum?

    If so, how?

All you need to do is to set the thermal conductivity of the medium to be zero. That way, heat can’t conduct (neither can it convect).

Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

BTW, under the Examples Menu, there are a few radiation models that assume the medium to be vacuum. You may want to take a look at them to see how they are set up if they work for you.
