The Z-Axis is perpendicular to the monitor screen.

SWAPPING Z-ORDER – If one element A partially overlaps another element B, so that a portion of B is hidden, is there any way to bring element B to the front (that is, change their Z-Order), short of redrawing A first and B second?

HEAT FLOW CALCULATION RULES – If one element A partially overlaps another element B, so that a portion of B is hidden, does the visible geometry control the heat flow calculations? For example, if A is a highly-conductive metal and B is a foam insulator, will the calcuated heat flows be different when A is on top (hiding part of B), than if B is on top (hiding part of A)?
